Review of 'The Book Is In The Buzz' – An Ebook by Alexis Dawes.

I was rather hesitant in buying this book. It was only $19.95 but I considered myself pretty savvy when it comes to niche research. I was wrong.
To quote from her sales page, her “basic philosophy is that you seek out specific (desperation inducing) problems that people have, and create reports that solve those problems.” Alexis doesn’t explain how to solve those problems – she explains that brilliantly in Desperate Buyers Only. Instead, she takes the hard work out of niche research so you can focus on creating your information product.
After reading The Book Is In The Buzz, I realized that there were so many other untapped resources. The 57 pages were jam packed full of sites that are being ignored by many internet marketers. Alexis draws on her years of internet marketing experience to provide readers with the sites ignored by the market masses.
They are seperated into two sections:
- Most popular articles and news stories
- Most popular blogs, forums and forum posts.
Obviously, she couldn’t provide the resources for every single niche. However she provides the information for broader niches – travel, hobbies and health – so that its relevant to a wider audience.
You may not learn anything new in this book. Some of the information is common knowledge among internet marketers and all is freely available in a google search. What it will do is save time – especially if you are new to the industry or a particular niche.
It makes a brilliant companion to both Desperate Buyers Only and How to Launch the **** Out Of Your Ebook because it simplifies the market research process.
Are you looking for websites where you can discover what information users want online the most?

Jade,
I read your post on Yaro’s site. Very humbling in that I have no known illnesses and have a complete lack of focus. I’m cursed with having many ideas/interests and lack of discipline. After reading your post, I have no more excuses. If you can persist in your journey within your set circumstances, so can I.
Thanks for a wonderful wake-up call.;-)
Be Well and GOD Bless,
Anthony
PS — I love Alexis Dawes!
