At the start of the e-book Desperate Buyers Only,  Dawes states that “Online infopreneurs fail for 3 main reasons–

1) They focus on general topics.
2) They focus on so-called ‘hot’ niche topics.
3) They follow the all-time favorite, and frequently quoted, adage, “Do
what you love and the money will follow.””

The remaining 92 pages of this comprehensive e-book explains why doing what you love wont suffice in the competitive world of e-book selling. Many internet marketers fail because they focus too heavily on the niche traffic or keywords. There is nothing wrong in those methods. Desperate Buyers Only however states that you will have more success with your information production if you focus on a niche where an audience is desperate for a solution.

Dawes takes the reader step by step through the entire book writing process. The detail is rich and completely covers every detail from choosing the e-book topic to effective techniques for selling it.  She provides extras such as the competitors assessment form and templates for creating your information product. The book is rich with personal case studies. She often gives additional suggestions for those struggling to find inspiration. I particularly liked the list of 13 potential audience bases.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at developing a web product. 80% of the information has a really broad appeal. At $77, it is somewhat expensive however I found it well worth the money. The information is concise yet comprehensive. It opened my eyes and I would highly recommend it to any infopreneur.
